I am Frank Boemers

and have been working as Managing Director and Executive in medium-sized companies in the medical sector for the last 25 years. In what context is the term purpose to be understood here?

Purpose was and is for me always the inner value of an organization.
These values include environmental awareness, sustainability, community commitment, the reason "why" and much more.
Purpose is the basis for sustainable company growth, which is not based on short-term sales and employee motivation programs, but on long-term trust, enthusiasm and cooperation.
The attraction of Purpose connects service providers and customers alike and makes them not only fans but also active sellers of your own brand.
